OUR PROGRAMS
Our programs are designed to provide support and guidance to the youth in our communities. Through mentorship and community engagement, we aim to create a positive impact and foster personal growth.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, our scholarship program supports returning citizens and community members in pursuing educational goals that lay the groundwork for success and stability.

Hang Time is a transformative program that brings together ex-offenders, community leaders, and legal professionals in an unlikely brotherhood and sisterhood focused around empowering returning citizens.

Her Time provides a safe space for women affected by trauma to find support, resources, and empowerment through shared experiences and educational workshops. Partnering with The Center for Family Justice, Her Time is a beacon of hope and recovery.

Choices is a youth violence prevention and mentorship program that offers guidance to help individuals make positive life choices.

At Hang Time, we unite ex-offenders, community leaders, and local residents every Tuesday for discussions that enlighten and inspire. Hosted by the Bridgeport Neighborhood Trust, these gatherings offer a safe, respectful environment to talk, share, and grow. From political debates to personal development, Hang Time is where change begins.

The Magic of HangTime
The Magic of Hang Time is rooted in the power of connection. It is about creating space for honest conversation, shared experiences, and meaningful relationships that foster understanding, accountability, and growth. Through dialogue, presence, and consistency, Hang Time transforms moments into opportunities for healing, mentorship, and positive change within the community.

At CHOICES, we connect high school students and athletes with mentors whose lived experiences provide real perspective and guidance. Through open, respectful discussion, our speakers address social challenges, decision making, and personal growth. CHOICES creates space for reflection and accountability, helping students choose paths that lead to positive outcomes.
Born From HangTime: Connecticut Hall Of Change
Connecticut Hall Of Change was created as an extension of HangTime, a Bridgeport-based community program known for bringing people together through honest conversation and real-life accountability. Rooted in that same mission, Hall Of Change exists to recognize formerly incarcerated leaders who are making powerful, visible impact in our cities and towns today.

Her Time is a sister program of Hang Time created exclusively for women navigating the weight of multiple responsibilities, often shaped by familial incarceration, domestic violence, and other life-altering challenges. Through monthly sessions and trusted support, Her Time provides a safe space for women to focus on their well-being, rebuild stability, and move forward with purpose. Since launching in 2018, the program has supported countless women.
Her Time, Her Healing, Her Next Chapter.

In a time when the conversation around law enforcement is fraught with complexity and urgency, the new dynamic short documentary film “Us vs Them” emerges as a clarion call for reflection, empathy, and transformation. Conceived by a veteran law enforcement official with decades of firsthand experience, this film steps boldly into the debate, inviting viewers to confront the ingrained “bad guy vs good guy” culture that has long defined the American policing narrative.
